Baby Kisses

This young mother obviously loves her child very much as I observed her interacting with her child. Just yesterday I was reading an article on orphans in Romania that had no one to love them and interact with many of whom were now unresponsive to human touch. Looks like this kid has a great start with a loving mother and I pray he grow up to be all God wants him to be.

Pork in this Town?

Pork in this town?? Somehow this little pig looks right at home with the the capital in the background.

Grill Master

It looked good and smelled good but the lines were so long I opted to wait, and wait, and wait but lines just kept getting longer.

Baby Bump

I loved this lady's colorful outfit and the fact that she is pregnant really caught my eye. God bless her and her baby.

Weiner Mobile

Nothing says summertime more than Hot Dogs. All though I don't eat them anymore there still a kids favorite at any summertime activity. I wonder how many miles to the gallon this vehicle gets or does it run on natural gas.

Women in Head Scarfs

I wonder what these women do when it gets real hot. To me there head scarfs look like they would be uncomfortable especially when the temperature start the reach the upper 90's and low 100's. God bless them. I'll stick to my shorts tee shirts and sandals for now.

Man Selling Fire Wood

It hard to believe sometimes that there are still places in the world were people still depend on wood to make a fire to cook there food on. Here in the USA, we would call it a BBQ and invite our friends in other parts of the world it would be called survival.

Me & My Camel

This man loves his camel, and he should, he makes Lot's of money from his 4 legged friend. He pulls out a big wad of money mostly $20 bills and ask me if I could make him some change. "I need ones and fives" he said. Well, so do I. 

Guitar Slim

This guy "Guitar Slim" as I called him was quite good and the crowd loved him. I thought well, that beats playing in a Bar any day of the week and just doing your own thing on the streets.

The Lonely Protester

This group claims to be protesting since 1981. Seems like, well, time well spent?

Most Annoying

The award to the most annoying person on the streets I've every come across goes to this guy. He's loud and disturbs what could be a peaceful atmosphere at the park. I don't mind people expressing themselves and there point of view but this guy has neither, only to much time on this hands.

Lunch Time

Lunch time and stepping back in time. Every time I pop over to the Eden Center I feel like I've been transformed to another place in time. By the way the food is great there and most of the restaurants are pack during lunch time.

Live Green

Live Green? What ever that means. Anyways, this young lady was nice enough to let me take her portrait while she told me about Live Green. At least my yard is green now.

Riding the Metro

I'm not a big fan of riding the Metro but I will when I have too. I guess I'm just to independent and would rather drive even when I know I might have to fight for a parking spot. 

Tourist Season

With the warmer weather upon us the tourist are in full swing especially in our Nations Capital were people from all over the world come to catch a glimpse of  the White House.

Unemployment Line

Hopefully this isn't you standing in line for some government handout.

Day at the Races

While on an assignment last month photographing a Half Marathon I had a great time interacting with the runners. I felt that being a runner myself  I would kick it up notch and start training harder after being out there with these dedicated runners.
