Mercado Modelo

Tourist

Local Vendor Selling??

Enjoying a Fresh Ice Cold Coconut
The Mercado Modelo, in Salvador Bahia, Brazil. A fun place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon. Just don't use the ATM machine there and leave before the tourist get there.

Publimetro

The Publimetro Newspaper
Yenny off Work
While walking the streets of any major city I travel to I sometimes come across things and wonder what are they selling? Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. I thought this young lady above had something to do with traffic. With her bright orange colors I thought her logo read something about public transportation. I was wrong she was giving away a free newspaper publication called Publimetro. Because it rains a lot in Bogota, she a little shelter she can stand under (pictured behind her) and that's where she also keeps the papers.

I happen to come by as she getting off work and she was kind enough to let me take this portrait of her. Thank You Yenny.

With my Brother
Vivian waiting for some friends
Young kids hanging out at the Parque Biblioteca Espana, in Medellin, Colombia. I ask the young man Raul, in the top photo if that was his girlfriend, he said no it's my sister Julia. Then Julia, was quick to point out he can't get a girlfriend.

Another View of Iguazu

Smaller Falls
Psalm 93:4
As the day comes to an end
So many falls and to little time. It's hard to find the right word to fully describe the truly wonderful place. The handy work of God All Mighty!

Quati- In Through the Outdoor

Going In
Coming Out
Come Back When You Can't Stay So Long
These curious little animals are just adorable know as the Quati, or as The South American Coati,  they are not shy at all. In the evening they will start to come out in groups as large as twenty or more. I believe they will eat just about anything as evidence in the two photos above taken by my wife. She had more patience photographing them, them me as was able to capture the little guy going in and out of the trash bin.

View From Top of Falls

Iguazu Falls
View from the top of the falls where the newscaster from yesterdays post  finally did her story from. There are more than 250 falls that make up Iguazu Falls. Foreground falls in Brazil, and background falls Argentina.

Live From The Falls

Monica Terrazza coming to you from Iguazu Falls
Ledge on Left where Monica was standing
It's so loud where this Newscaster Monica Terrazza, is standing I was wondering how she could hear the directions from her camera crew let alone if she could be heard over the sound of the rushing water. She's very close to the falls and after a few minutes was starting to get very wet. I they opted for and another location for take two somewhere over the rainbow.
