As the protests continued for several days in different cities throughout Brazil I was reminded that protesting (peaceful protest) all though nothing wrong with it seems to accomplice very little. You can't impeach a president with a protest it has to be done through legal channels and here lies the problem. With just about every other politician corrupt that's a can be a hard thing to do. The only answer is prayer.

A big protest broke out in Brasilia on Sunday (March 13th) about 100,000 people in Brasilia showed up and continues on in today in several cities in Brazil. They are protesting the corruption in the government and calling for the impeachment of president Dilma RousseffIn addition to the calling for the impeachment of the president the former president, Lula, was shall we say detain but not arrested by the Federal police for his role in the Petrobras corruption investigation fraud and money laundering. However to add insult to injury to the Brazilian people Lula, for all his involvement in this corruption, money laundering and fraud scandal was awarded a cabinet position by president Rousseff.

I know this a hard time of the year for those who are homeless or living in shelters. One thing I noticed about these three men is that they are not young. At sometime point in their lives something happen to make them give up on their dreams. This pass year, I too, have been struggling to keep my dream alive. Then I realize I need to learn to be content and at peace in what ever circumstance I might be in. As the Apostle put it in Phil 4:12-13 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through Christ who gives me strength. Amen!!

Like these young graffiti artist did a few months back on a community collaboration where one artist starts a theme and another artist comes behind him or her to finish or touch up the others ones works. I always see a lot of Beatles influence in their work around here but this is the first time I saw Ray Charles.  Images shot in Brasilia, Brazil. No prizes or money was given out in the making of this mural.
