These are just some of the interesting things you'll see at the Museum at the Middle of the World or Museo Mitad Del Mundo. A giant baby spider and a shrunken head of a twelve year old child. There was another head that was brought out but I was not allowed to photograph it not sure way. The tour was interesting none the less although I was told the price has gone up in the last few years from $.25 cents to $4.00 dollars. So if you plan a trip there save up for the entry fee.
The beautiful countryside outside of Quito, Ecuador, also near the Pululahua Crater, which is also near the Mitad del Mundo or Middle of the World. Clouds are always rolling in and out constantly changing the look of the landscape.
Well, I always wonder what the Equator looks like and know I know. It's a white line with a red line in the middle. They say it dons't rain much at the Equator but it did this day which may have been a blessing, although he temperature hardly ever gets above 75 degrees it feels hotter and you can burn more easily.
