One day I decide to walk to the river beach at Ilha Marajo. Good idea I thought. I was told it was only 3Km to the beach. I think it was actual more like 6km.
The Waves Were Pretty Strong at this Beach
That's okay, It was an interesting walk. I got to make friends and influence people along the way.

Marajo Island or Ilha Marajo, an Island in the Northern Region of the Amazon in the State of Para, Brazil, is a delightful little place to take a few days off and relax and enjoy the slow pace of life that this place has to offer along with the wild life.

This Old House

Yes Someone Lives Here. Town of Soure in Ilha Marajo. Brazil

Colorful Laundry Hanging out to Dry
While walking the dirt streets of the little Island town of Soure, on Marajo Island in the Northern part of the State of Para, Brazil I came across theses two homes and wonder if any anybody really lived there especial the top house that looks like its about to collapse. As I approached the top house I looked inside and there was a woman sitting there at what looked liked the kitchen she greeted me with a warm smile and said hello. Well, that answered my question real fast. On a positive note it looks like they where building a new house behind this one with bricks. I sure hope so.
