I couldn't decide which photo I liked best so I uploaded both of these. Definitely one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been too. I love the way the light is bouncing off the Christ the Redeemer Statue into the clouds as if to say, Jesus the Light of the World.

We are definitely living in some dark and perilous times right now. I find it hard to believe that their are people, who would, at a time like this reject Jesus, and put their faith in man or government. Today it seems that people can't even discern good from evil, right from wrong. In the US they kick God out of public schools and are trying to teach Islam and push the homosexuality agenda on unsuspecting young people  Boy, that's really going to work out well. Jesus said in Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. And that's the good news from a loving God and Savior. Don't miss the boat I want to see you in heaven.

Gosh, we just started a new year and look what the Muslim are doing all in the name Allah....

There is big difference between Christianity and Islam. They are as day and night.

One loves its enemies and prays for them. The other murders them.

One frees women and children. The other binds them.

One welcomes conversion. The other compels it.

One suffers persecution. The other inflicts it.

One is truth. The other is a lie.

One offers eternal salvation. The other, damnation.

Islam is the poison. and a Dangerous Cancer to whole world and everything it touches. 

Christ is the cure. Christians don't need to defend God like Muslims do. A god who is insecure enough to be offended by a cartoon, and incompetent to the level that he wants you to avenge for him, is not a god worthy of worship, but a devil who is leading you to your demise. Don't be Foolish choose the Prince of Peace today, Jesus. 

End of the Day

End of the day and close to the end of the year for that fact. At the end of everyday I like to reflect on what the day was like. Did I accomplish everything I set out to do? or was it just another day sort of speaking. One thing is for your sure, I can always thank God for my many blessing and for directing my life. Though I don't always understand what happens along the way I just trust him by faith that everything is going to work out for his glory. I don't want to live for myself or for selfish gain. Each day when I wake up I give thanks to God for sending his son and my Savoir Jesus into this dark world to seek and save those who are lost and with out hope. Lord Jesus, come quickly. Amen

Right in the Middle of the Amazon Forest or Jungle if you want to call it, is a little church with five members. I guess you could say its a start. It's not the size of the church but the power of the church,  meaning,, are they preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ the power to transform ones life? It was encouraging to see that in this far away place someone care enough to go and start a church to preach the good news about the Prince of Peace. In the bottom photo I was remind of two things. Fishing has changed much since the days of Jesus, when he called Peter and Andrew to come be his disciples and he would make them fishers of men. Just a simple boat and a net.

Give Thanks

Today I give thanks with a grateful heart, I give thank to God Almighty and his son Jesus and the Holy Spirit working every day in life to mold me and shape into the man of God he desires

Deep in the Tapajos National Forest in the State of Para, Brazil, lives a shy little girl with her family. Hopefully this little one will have a chance to grow up strong and healthy and someday know the Lord. Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Luke 18:16 But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. There are many Bible Verses giving references to children and what a blessing they are. Jeremiah 1:5 "I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations." One thing all these Scriptures do is nail and expose the abortionist and expose their evil plans for the unborn or nearly born. Matthew 18:6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. This verse says it all especially in today's society in the USA where the school systems are trying to indoctrinate young kids into all kinds of sine and debauchery.

Nothing last forever but the Earth and Sky as the old saying goes. I think that just about every major city in the world has a section where Old Buildings and Homes have seen better days. For me its especially sad when these old building were at one time beautiful showcases for the city. Well, for whatever the reason I know that one day I will live in a big beautiful Mansion, that's a promises from Jesus himself. And if Jesus said it I believe it and that settles it. Amen to the Glory of God!

Dock of the Bay or This must be my Ship coming in. Either way making a living as a fisherman must be a hard job. Long hour and sleepless nights. Maybe that 's why some of  Jesus first disciples were fisherman. They knew what it was like to work hard.  Matthew 4:19 And He said to them, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men."

Well, with the help of a Super Moon and a clear night it makes it a little easier to photography the moon standing on the edge of  Lago Paranoá. Next Moon is schedule to appear on September 9th with the next Blood Moon on Oct 8th of this year. These signs in the heavens are signaling the end times, not the end of the world but the end of the church age. Jesus is coming soon.

Storing up treasures in heaven is a hard concept for a lot of people to understand especial Americans who are use to having thing now and right away, I call them the" Now Generation," Gotta have it now. In Matthew 19:20 the Bible says But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. And in John 14:2 Jesus said; In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. So when I see people who seem to not have a lot as in the photos above, I'm reminded of those two verse of scriptures and realize that their situation on earth is only temporal but the promise of Heaven, to those who believe and receive Jesus into their hearts is eternal. At Christmas time my heart always goes out to the poor and less fortunate people of the world. Thank God, that there are people who care enough to share the love of Christ with other. Even though Santa might be fun and the kids love him this time of the year the real reason for this celebration is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh. Someday, soon he will come back in all his glory to rule and rein forever and take away all the injustice in the world and make things right once and for all. No more corrupt governments or poverty, just Jesus

Jaboticaba, fruit of the vine or in this case a fruit that grows on the bark of a tree. As far as I know this exotic fruit from Brazil, South America,  maybe the only fruit in all the world that grows on the bark and branches of the tree and not on the vine like most fruits do. No matter what the fruit is I'm always reminded when when I see fruit bearing tress about certain scripture in the Bible that talks about tress and fruit. Luke 6: 43 & 44  “A good tree can’t produce bad fruit, and a bad tree can’t produce good fruit. ⁴⁴ A tree is identified by its fruit. And Verse 45 A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart. Gal 5:22 & 23 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³ gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things! 
As Christians we are to produce good fruit in our lives. This is what I try to remind myself about everyday it all about Jesus.

Sometime I really don't know what I want say so the other day I came across this great prayer, that to me really sums it up. We all need prayer everyday, but sometime we grow weary and its hard to pray. I don't remember were I found this so I can't give credit were credit is due.

No Corruption

No Corruption, the sign reads. It normal, nobody wants a corrupt government or corrupt government officials in charge of their lives and future. People ask me all the time about the US and I must tell them the truth, right now, we have the most corrupt administration in charge that the US has ever wittiness. As Bill Clinton and other have stated "We have an amateur in the White House right now." With that said, most informed American know we have a big problem in Washington.  So, all I can think about at a time like this is that nothing is impossible with God. and that all nation around the world not just the US need to pray for there leaders, and that God would rise up a new generation of godly men and women. While some protest in and of themselves are not always a bad things the only thing that can change the world and the hearts of man is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Know Jesus Know Peace. No Jesus No Peace.

Whenever I see a brilliant sunset I can't help but think of the Mighty Power of God (Not Allah) who created the heavens and earth by his breath. This last year I realized for the first time that the God of the universe that created me will never abandon me or forsake me. Humans are not capable of loving the way God loves us. It impossible. Flesh can not compete with God. This pass year I've seen wife's abandon there husband Fathers abandon the children and a Rouge US government that has no limits to  perpetrating evil. Thank God, that all this madness will come end with Jesus sitting on throne ruling and reining and putting everything in order. Lets face it man is to dumb to do anything right that's why we need a Savior. Jesus please come quickly!!

They say, the best camera you have is the one you have with you at time. Such is the case in these photos. I didn't have time to grab my trusty 40D and speedlite so I had to make do with what I had...my ipad camera. Well, it actually was a good lesson for me in more ways than one. For one thing, at least I did have a camera with me and was still able to inter act with these kids and have fum with them, though I keep thinking I wish I had my regular camera with me. These photos are from kids who live in a poor community outside of Brasilia, Brazil called Planaltina. Where once a month a local church from Brasilia, goes and teaches them about God, prays for them, listens to their problems and distributes food to them. In Mark 10 vs 14 Jesus said "Let the children come to me. Don't stop them. For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children. Amen. I guess I'll never grow up then.

Sometimes life can be unfair and deal you a hard blow such as was the case of my nephew who back in 2003 his mother disappeared.  Thank God, for a loving caring family back in Colombia, that has taken good care of him for almost the pass ten years. This young man is very focus and know what he wants in life. He enrolled himself in an English class in Bogota, Colombia, and learn to speak English in eight month so he can come to the US to study. With the help of God, I'll do all I can to support him and see to it that he will chance to succeed.

As the Bible says in Jeremiah 27: 11 For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope. 

So no matter what's happen up to this point I know that God is faithful and the gates of hell will not prevail. Thank you King Jesus!!

Well, I'm always impressed whenever I see the youth out preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These young kids from the Igreja Cristã Evangélica in Brasilia, Brazil, are doing just that on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. They could be out doing other things like most kids might be doing on a Saturday but they choose to be out witnessing and teaching God word. God bless them all the days of there lives and may they continue to win souls for for Brazil.
